Alcester

We have been visitors to Ocean Dreams since 2013, often staying twice a year and sadly this will probably be our last. We always book 1 yr in advance to get Villa 19 which is classed as Deluxe - mainly for the amazing views. Outside it is in real need of repair and redecoration. . The pool main. unit top was loose (blew off across patio) and the metal top was sharp. Pool edge was filthy in one corner and outdoor furniture is grubby and basic. Inside the decor is bland , the plant, side window curtain and murals which gave it some charm had all disappeared and the sofa (fairly new) looks tired. Bath needs repair with rust along the edge. I had been assured of a late checkout (original flight was 9pm) but when I emailed after arrival to confirm I had a very basic reply saying that this wouldn’t be possible and due to additional Covid cleaning check out was at 11am! I understand that these are very unusual times but I really expected better customer service after being guests for so long. There was also no cleaning for 2 weeks stay to ‘protect’ us.! In summary the villa is in urgent need of repair and redecoration to be classed as Deluxe - we stayed at a villa nearby for Xmas which was beautifully decorated, equipped and maintained (and much cheaper!) . Finally if you book an airport taxi via Reception ensure you have the exact fare - our driver constantly played drums on the steering wheel, tail-gated then apparently had absolutely no change and no payment by card - reeaaaaly?

Spent several days at ocean dreams in Playa Blanca Lanzarote during the Coronavirus recently and received no active assistance or information about the current situation in Lanzarote . No communication whatsoever from the reception staff. Other people who were also there confirmed my views. The cleaning and pool staff were brilliant. I’ve been to several villas over a 15 year period and this is by far the worst. To make it even worse the pool wasn’t heated and could not be used. Very basic accommodation. Very disappointing. If anything the only good point was the proximity of the villas to the marina Management poor.

Halifax

I have nothing negative to say about our stay in No 8 Villa. Spotlessly clean, an abundance of clean towels, large spacious rooms, huge beds, everything you needed was there. Barbecue provided on request, Ricardo was so helpful on reception. Arrived early as Villa not ready, locked our bags up and had use of a bathroom to freshen up. First time our daughter has been to the resort and she described it as beautiful and loved the Villa and is hoping to return with her friends. We will definitely return next year, but it will be for far longer. Very sad to be leaving this fabulous place

Leeds

I have been visiting Lanzarote for many years after I lived here when I was a Rep for TUI and I've found myself going back year after year all across the island. But Playa Blanca is my favourite spot. Family actually recommended Ocean Dreams, who have also been visiting for years and we can't imagine staying anywhere else now. We stayed last May in the Hidden villa and we're booked again this upcoming September, we can't wait. The villa is beautiful inside and out and has everything you need for a perfect, relaxing holiday. The staff are so friendly and helpful. We can't wait to be back, it feels like our second home. Loughborough

We love Playa Blanca and these villas are in an excellent location in the town - easy walking distance to the Marina and the old town.We stayed with our teenage kids and were delighted with how spacious and comfortable the villa was. Great sized quality beds, great open plan lounge dinner, very well equipped kitchen.We had a very relaxing stay and will definitely return.

Telford

Stayed here for 2 weeks in june ... lovely villas... they have everything that you need :) Comfortable and clean... pool is not heated but thats welcoming when its so hot. This place is run by lovely people. I would definitely recommend and we loved it so much that we have booked to come back next year with our family

Worcester

Family holiday with 6 adults in total, plenty of space inside and a well equipped kitchen, clean pool with lots of sunbeds large outside dining area and comfy sofas a BBQ is also provided. 5* Hotel over the road where you can use the spa facilities and pools also get 10% off any treatment (definitely recommend the facial and massage)Within walking distance of shops and a variety of places to eat.

Liverpool

Loved our stay here. Spotless, spacious villa. Pool was fab. Facilities at the Volcan great so get the best of both worlds. Lovely marina close by with lovely market Saturday and Wednesday and plenty of lovely restaurants.

Doncaster

We stayed in the hidden villa (villa 1) 2 weeks ago. Lovely place, really clean, helpful staff. On our week stay the cleaners came in half way through with fresh bedding and towels and the pool guy also came. Loads of restaurants and 2 supermarkets just a few minutes walk away. Would definitely stay again.

Just back from our weeks break at Ocean Dreams,this is our second stay here and didn't disappoint.We had a 3 bed 2 storey villa no11,comprising 2 bedrooms and bathroom upstairs and open plan kitchen/living/dinning area,1bedroom, shower room /w.c,small utility area and small outside area for clothesline.Nice size outside seating and dinning area good size pool and plenty of sunbed,water in pool not heated so a bit chilly in May but didn't stop me swimming every day.Friendly staff from reception to cleaning staff and maintenance guys.This particular villa is showing some signs of age but understand a refurb of site is planned soon.We have booked to return next year and wouldn't hesitate to recommend to others....Thank you Ocean Dreams.. Helston

We had a great time weather by day was lovely but a bit chilly in the evening’s.The villa was very clean everything you would want,very spacious we had the two bed villa,Only down size was the pool isn’t heated and we couldn’t swim as it was so cold up side used the Hotel Volcan which is beautiful.didnt eat there but used pool and had a couple of cocktails by the pool bar.Would go there again .we went for the week.

Camberley

We stayed for just one night in this lovely villa and really wished we had stayed more. Our villa was on the front and we had amazing views across to fuerteventura.The villa is 2 minutes walk to the Rubicon Marina in about 20 minutes to the town of Playa Blanca. The marina is beautiful with lots of restaurants and bars .The villa was tastefully decorated with all the amenities you would expect. We stayed in a two bedroom villa and both bedrooms were a good size with a lovely bathroom. The villa was set in a pretty garden with a swimming pool . You could sit around the pool and see the sea all around you . Although this part of the sea did not have a beach there is one 10 minutes walk away .My only criticism is the pool isn’t heated but I still managed a quick dipI look forward to returning one day

We've spent a week in one of oceans dreams bungalows and I must say- it was awesome! Totally recommend. Beatiful and calm place- great for every type of traveller- friends (like us) ready for good party in the swimming pool; pretty and cute for families; romantic for couples;)...We spent there fantastic time, the service was nice, the place is close to pretty beaches, shops and restaurants - everything what's needed is there-> recommend. Realy.

London

Wonderful, spacious apartments, beautifully furnished and equipped with everything you need. We had a three bedroom and two bedroom apartment between a group of friends. Great views from the balconies of the three bedroom apartment which is essentially a house! Staff are particularly helpful and attentive without being intrusive. Quiet location, close to the sea and a 5-10 minute walk from the marina with a selection of good restaurants and a great pub with live music. Swimming pools were a bit cold to swim in January unless the sun was full on. Great to be able to use the facilities of the Hotel Volcan, breakfast was fabulous as were the pools and poolside bar. The recommended trip on a sailing boat was fantastic and very reasonably priced. These apartments are a great find, all the benefits of self catering with the bonus of hotel services if you want them. Can’t recommend them highly enough. Just returned from a fab week, 8 of us in 2 villas. Loads of space, each had 3 rooms, private pool which was refreshing lol.Great location, so close to marina with all restaurants, shops etc. Will definately return.

Winchester

What a lovely spot situated opposite the Volcan 5 star hotel whose facilities you are welcome to use. About 250 metres from, and slightly above, the Rubicon Marina. The villa was excellent, large, bright and airy with all mod cons and tastefully furnished. Our villa had three bedrooms, two bathrooms and a private pool. The staff go out of their way to make sure everyone has an enjoyable stay. I would definitely go again.

Went here as a family of 4.villa was amazing.everything you need was there.kitchen facilities were great.spotless clean & no request was too much for reception.having out own pool was a bonus.location was Fab.close to lovely resturaunts & shops & water park only a €5 cab drive away.will definitely return.

Just returned from a 7day stay in villa 9 and enjoyed every minute of it,villa literally a 1minte walk to beautiful sea views and 5mins walk to the marina for cafe's bars shops and restaurants.The villa is well equipped and a proper home from home with a lovely private pool.Our villa had 2 bedrooms both air conditioned,sitting/dining area air conditioned,nice sized well equipped kitchen and bathroom with bath and shower attachment.Outside was a seating area,dining area,4 sun loungers and parasol beside a nice pool and well kept garden.We enjoyed our stay so much that we booked for next year before leaving.All staff were very friendly and helpful and available daily until 3pm and a phone call away.Our villa faced the Volcan hotel and all facilities were available to use free as well as restaurant for a fee but never felt the need to use any of them.All in all had a great stay and can't wait to return.Any questions please feel free to ask.

Essex

We found it to be the perfect location, 5 minute walk to the marina, and the local market which was on certain days. we owed again for next year for us and extended family. we had the vila with perfect sea view along the beach front. staff were very friendly and helpful.

The hotel is at a great location. 2 min walk to the city center, restaurants, market. Very clean, well maintained hotel. The staff is amazing, helpful, always smiling and kind. Thé manager Lamya is the best. I literally fell in love with her! Helpful and kind, she found solutions of any my request and wish, good tips for restaurants, massage studios, renting a car, etc. Thank you very much for everything! The breakfast is fine served in a nice coffee immediately next to the hotel. I had a great trip and experience and highly recommend the place! I will do my best to come back again! ️

My experience at Marina Dreams was far beyond what I had anticipated. The staff was absolutely amazing and went out of their way to ensure that I had a great experience in Dakhla. I was a bit nervous traveling alone all the way here, but they patiently dealt with my thousands of questions and even provided a free tour of the city. The location is wonderful- you are right in the middle of everything and very close to several restaurants and cafes. They have a tour guide who can take you to all of the nearby attractions which I would 100% do again. Very very great hotel with very welcoming staff!
